I walked in for a passport photo and for the paperwork to be mailed off. It was an easy experience. Everyone is always very friendly when I go in.

I went into this USPS location on Saturday (09/06) for two things: a passport photo for an Italy business visa and a prepaid Priority Mail return envelope for the consulate to send my passport back to me. Clerk #03 helped us, but the experience was a mess from start to finish. First, instead of giving me the prepaid return envelope that I would address myself (as I’ve done before for an Italy visa), he stuck a Priority Mail label on an envelope and handed it to me, completely the wrong thing. I wasn’t sure if it was correct, and he wouldn’t let me fix it, so I paid and left. When I went to the USPS in Warwick (Main St), the clerk there immediately confirmed it was the wrong label and told me to go back to Hewitt for a refund and the correct prepaid envelope, which she kindly set up for me. When I went back to Hewitt, the store was closed but Clerk #03 was outside. My husband asked him about canceling/refunding, but he insisted it was fine and told us to come back Monday. On Monday, my husband went in, and another clerk admitted it was a mistake but said they couldn’t cancel or refund it. Then Clerk #03 came out, saw my husband, and literally turned around to avoid speaking to him. In the end, they apologized but refused to refund the $11 even though it was clearly their mistake. On top of that, on Saturday when I asked about passport photos, they said they couldn’t do Italy-size photos. Fine, but Clerk #03 kept pushing, saying he could take the photo anyway and “cut it out” to size, even though he clearly didn’t know what he was doing. Thankfully, I went back to Warwick and they did it properly. Overall, the Hewitt USPS was unprofessional, unhelpful, and cost me time and money. The Warwick USPS saved the day, but I would never recommend the Hewitt location to anyone.

This post office is terrible. Whenever my usual carrier is out, mail is constantly mis delivered. I had a package delivered to a total different street address in Hewitt and they tried to tell me it was “eBay’s fault, that the seller must’ve put the wrong address” give me a break. I still haven’t received it. Whoever I spoke to on the phone seems to be pretending to be two different people also, giving a different line of BS each time I call.

DO NOT GET YOUR PASSPORT PHOTOS HERE! I wish I had read Lev Savranskiy’s one-star review below before entrusting this post office with my family’s passport photos. Our photos were also all rejected by the National Passport Center, and when I returned to the post office with the rejection letters, the employee gave me attitude and said that her photos were fine and that it was the National Passport Center that was in error. She then said that they couldn’t retake the photos because they were out of photo paper, so she had been telling people to go to the Ringwood post office or Walgreens.

Always friendly and helpful, Anita went above and beyond to find a solution when I had an issue with a return shipment.
