Unfortunately, the self-service computer was not accepting credit cards due to technical issues. One of the employees assisted with the printout, but I was charged an additional service fee—ending up paying over $3 for what should have been a 70-cent print. Another surprising thing I noticed was that another customer was charged an extra $1 just to use cello/clear tape on a package. Many customers might forget to put cello/clear tape on package. While I understand the store is not obligated to provide free services, this is the first time I’ve seen such a policy at any UPS Store location. Perhaps the higher charges are specific to the Harrison area. There is plenty of free parking, but unless it’s urgent, I don’t plan to use this outlet again.

I went to the store because my package showed as delayed in the app. When I asked if he could check the system, he bluntly told me, “We’re a franchise. We’re not UPS. Call UPS.” I went home, called UPS, and was told that the package had actually been delivered to the store 10 days ago. The associate didn’t even bother to do a quick check and honestly seemed like he didn’t want to be there at all. I returned to the store, and this time a different associate with long hair helped me. He checked right away and was able to locate and give me my package without any issues. Horrible service and terrible customer support from that first employee. Wasted my time for no reason.
