They’ve had a difficult 16 months, working through Covid and the attempted sabotage of the postal service by the PM general, L. DeJoy. Kudos to the employees that work so hard!
- NNNatalie NicholsMay 20, 20202.0I just want everyone to know what happened to me so that it doesn’t happen to them. I had to send court documents by restricted delivery. I told this to the young female post officer behind the counter. I told her three separate times “restricted delivery”. She seemed confused. I explained to her that only the recipient could sign for it. It took her ten minutes. I paid about $8. A week later I find out she did NOT send it restricted delivery. She obviously does not know how to do her job. I went back today and spent another $12 to get the supervisor to send it actual restricted delivery. It cost me $8 and a week of time. The thing is the USPS does not offer refunds. They also work with time sensitive highly important document. Therefore it’s really important people are trained well on how to do their job correctly. I hope she receives better training so she doesn’t mess up someone else’s life. Update: I mailed a letter from here two weeks ago and it just disappeared. It was again important legal papers. What the heck is happening with this post office!!!!
