We scheduled a notary appointment weeks in advance, confirmed it in person with a staff member, and showed up on time with time-sensitive documents. When we arrived, we were told the person we had spoken with wasn’t in and they could not notarize anything. We asked them to call the owner, Mahendra Borad, but were told he “never comes in.” He didn’t answer the phone, and no one took responsibility for the fact that the store accepts online bookings for services it apparently cannot provide. This left us scrambling, driving all over town at the last minute to find someone else. This was not my first poor experience at this location. About a year ago, I came in to return an Amazon package. The end of the box wasn’t taped, and instead of using a small piece of packing tape (something every shipping store has on hand), the employee insisted I buy an entire roll for $7. Completely ridiculous and not customer-focused. Update: the owner did reach out to us and apologized and accepted full responsibility. I do appreciate that.
