- LBLu BaApr 29, 20241.0On Monday, April 29th, 2024, at approximately 3:00 PM, I visited this USPS location. When attempting to pay for a $9 priority mail service with a $100 bill, the customer service representative(African American female) told me “I’m not going to break a $100 bill for you just to spend $9 on priority mail.” She asked me if I had smaller. After replying that I did not, the representative told me to visit another post office with a condescending smirk on her face. I then walked to a nearby 7-Eleven in 86° weather, as I did not have access to a car, to exchange the $100 bill for smaller bills. Upon returning to the post office, I was able to finalize the transaction using the exchanged bills. The customer service representative did not mention any USPS policies regarding breaking large bills throughout the interaction and I doubt there’s any policies that prevent USPS workers from breaking them when a client is buying their services. I found the experience unprofessional and inconvenient due to the need to visit another store to acquire change. Shows lack of supervising at this location and also that the worker was possibly just lazy.

I showed up with a few packages and the post office worker told me she won’t scan past 3 packages. She told me I’m supposed to bring a scan form. I have been sending many packages without a scan form and never had this problem. She was just too lazy to scan all the packages.
