Colleen, my recruiter, was professional, responsive, and incredibly helpful. She took the time to prep me before my Zoom interview, and with her support, I landed the job. For that, I’m truly grateful—thank you, Colleen, for your dedication and hard work. Unfortunately, the job itself didn’t work out. While I understand that staffing agencies can’t control everything that happens on-site, I do believe Pride Staffing was aware of some of the issues at the company before placing me there. That part felt disappointing. I was transparent and honest with the agency about what occurred during my assignment, yet since then, I haven’t received any follow-up or leads for new opportunities. While my initial experience with the recruiter was positive, the lack of follow-through after things fell apart has been disheartening. I expected more support and communication during such a critical time in my job search. Hopefully, future candidates receive not only great placement help but also continued support if things don’t go as planned.
