I had walked in on a woman berating him because she needed a box to make her return. It clearly stated on her return instructions to box it up. Felt bad for Harman he was really doing his best to accommodate her. Thanks again for your help made my returns easier
- CCCA CouncilNov 8, 20251.0DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS STORE. I came in to complete a Happy Returns drop-off for Zappos. The instructions clearly stated that the item should be placed in a box (preferably the original one, which I had) and that the UPS Store would print the label. The man behind the counter opened my box “to check the return,” then told me I had to take the box with me. I explained that I was following Zappos’ directions, but he insisted a box wasn’t required and that it wasn’t his problem. When I tried to show him the instructions, he refused to look. Another employee jumped in, saying they’re “not a garbage center” and that if I didn’t take the box, they’d cancel my return. At that point, I asked for the owner’s contact information. The second worker sarcastically asked “for what?” and then flat-out refused to provide it, choosing instead to ignore me and go back to his laptop. I left with my return and label in hand. I’ll be escalating this to corporate and will never use this location again.
