- OMOscar MikeJun 19, 20251.0If you value your time and sanity, avoid the Dumont Post Office at all costs. I’ve never experienced such consistently poor service from a government facility. Clerk Bhakti Thakkar is the epitome of inefficiency and indifference. Her dismissive attitude and unprofessional demeanor make even the simplest transaction feel like an uphill battle. She’s either unwilling or unable to provide even the most basic level of customer service. Lines move at a glacial pace while staff shuffle papers and avoid eye contact. It’s clear there’s no accountability here, and the customers are the ones who suffer for it. This location desperately needs a management overhaul and staff who understand that working with the public requires more than just showing up. Go to Tenafly or Paramus instead—you’ll be treated like a human being there.
