Unprofessional and hostile service. I visited today to ship an envelope and was met with immediate aggression from Ms. P. Betty when I asked for a price comparison between Priority and Express.
There was no one else in line, yet she was incredibly nasty, got loud, and eventually refused to sell me the stamps I requested, telling me to "go somewhere else." No customer should be treated this way for asking a simple shipping question, and then kicked out.
This is a government-facing role, and someone with this level of aggression and lack of social grace should not be representing our postal system. Looking at the other reviews, it’s clear this is a documented pattern of behavior. Management needs to hold her accountable and reprimand her immediately.

I had a very unpleasant experience at the Cresskill Post Office on12/23/2025 . I asked a staff member about the price difference between a regular Priority Mail box and a Flat Rate box for a shipment to Dallas, TX. I showed her my unsealed box to get an estimate before taping it shut, but she told me she couldn't answer unless the box was closed.
When I explained that I needed the price comparison before sealing it, she became upset and threatened that if I didn't close it immediately, she wouldn't help me at all. It was very unprofessional."
She kept saying there was another post office in Tenafly and Demarest and told me I could go there instead. I was shocked; I stepped back and took two deep breaths to calm down. Suddenly, she screamed at me, "You left an unsealed box unattended and walked away! I should not be here!" At that point, I gave up on getting service and left. I tried to check the name on her uniform—it started with "Dominiq..." I think I might have heard that name in a Cresskill community group several years ago.
Ten minutes later, I went to the post office in Tenafly. They helped me quickly, and I was able to send three boxes to three different states well. I told them about my previous experience, and they mentioned that another person from Cresskill had a very similar bad experience today."
I was not the only one who was kicked out of the Cresskill post office

I had a very unpleasant experience with the staff at this post office. I was attended to by a woman who looked about middle aged. She kept insisting I zoom in on the barcode she was supposed to scan when clearly it was not possible to zoom in. She was very rude about it and kept refusing to try and However, another staff member was able to do it just fine.

Most third grade people working here. I don't know how they even got qualified to work in a town like Cresskill. With so many bad reviews and cheap service, it's weird they're still hired and not fired.
Sad we have to deal with such services in our own town, where we pay such high taxes.
