- C1Chosen 12 days ago1.0GO ANYWHERE ELSE FOR YOUR PASSPORT!!! WHO HIRED AND HAS NOT FIRED THESE EMPLOYEES? Literally felt like I was in the twilight zone dealing with these “customer service reps” yesterday! I’ve never had a more unpleasant , unprofessional & incomprehensibly rude experience than today at the cranford post office. First, I show up for my passport appointment at MY SCHEDULED time & the person that “does the passports” is on break for another hour?? Why isn’t everyone trained to do passports first of all, second of all, why are you on break at the time someone has a passport appointment if you know your the only person there that does them?? Ok fine. So I come back an hour later after having to get my pictures from Walgreens, mind you, because they never changed the ink at the post office so that they could take the pictures like they advertise that they do. Anyway I get back & the lady there earlier sends me to passport break lady & she has an attitude off the rip. She rolls her eyes dramatically & says “ why didn’t you have Mike do this ? “ & the other lady says “ Mike left “ so she proceeds to have an attitude with me like I kicked her dog. I give her all my documents then my pictures (which I used a passport app for then got printed at Walgreens). She looks at my pictures with disgust & says “um these are not passport pictures you can’t have that background” (it was a white door in the background & the app told me it just needed to be white background). So I just ask genuinely curious “ ok what’s wrong with the background?” & she snatches the picture dramatically & says “ OK fine! I’ll just submit the picture like this & have it get rejected!!!” Ummmm really ?? So I just say ok no problem I’ll just go get it redone at Walgreens. & she said ok you can come back after or come back tomorrow. I said I’d come right back since Walgreens was right around the corner. I go straight to the Walgreens. It takes a lil longer because the computer the lady needed to use to print out my pictures was being used but once I get them I go back to post office & am onc again BEWILDERED and taken ABACK by this lady’s rude and unprofessional demeanor!! She rolls her eyes again when she sees me & says “ NOPE THIS NOT WHAT WERE GONNA DO I JUST CLOSED AT THE PASSPORTS” mind you they still had an hour and a half until closing & she knew I was coming back so why’d you close it out ? The other lady was like “ Danielle ( I’m pretty sure it was Danielle) please just help her I told her she can come back” and she yells “ I already closed out passports no !!! “. She did not want to do her job from the jump. & the other lady just kind of raised her hands like there was nothing she could do & told me just to come back tomorrow. Then Danielle (rude lady) says well I won’t be here tomorrow but Mike. Will be able to do it. So that’s honestly the only reason I’m going back because she is not going to be there. I’m still dreading going back now but just want to get it over with since I have upcoming vacation I can’t prolong. Thanks for listening to my rant. I’m just still so disgusted with my experience & don’t want anyone else to experience what I had to.

And instead of getting a manager like they are supposed to they give an attitude and tell you to step aside. And when I told them I wouldn't step aside and wait until she actually called for a manager they told me they were going to call the police on me. What a wonderful post office system we have here in Cranford New jersey.
