With only one person at the counter, if you’re going to do passport services at all hours, including lunch time, there should be a second person to take care of all the mail customers backing up. Why doesn’t the postmaster come out to help? Also, after decades of having a PO box, I was a couple of weeks late for a payment and the box was locked and closed and all of my mail was removed and discarded or returned (most places didn’t receive it back). My fault, but a phone call after being a customer for so long and paying high box fees would have been appreciated. Also, wrong mail was put in the PO box all too often and other PO box holders received my mail as well, which once was an irreplaceable package.

The USPS Informed Delivery e mail showed an important SS form 1099 to be delivered on 1/8/2024. It is 1/10/2024 and still no delivery.

If I could give this facility a zero star rating I would. I never write reviews hardly ever for anything, but the level of mind-bending incompetence at this post office location is beyond words. I had a problem with my mail that started without my knowledge but was clearly a mistake made by a clerk at this location. They entered data wrong and then stopped my mail without any notice whatsoever. They then started to send my mail back to every sender, including checks I needed to pay my bills. The entire time I'm thinking my clients aren't paying when in fact they were. Every time I tried to go in to rectify the situation, which I was more than patient doing, I got the runaround that either it was the end of the day and I needed to come back, fill out more forms or that the situation was being handled when, in fact, it was not being addressed at all. The clerk caused my problem, gave me attitude about it and didn't fix it with any culpability. Nobody wants to handle anything over there. Even though the mistake was on their part they still treated us, the customer, like we were asking for too much and that asking for help was a personal affront to them. We would wait, come back again based on the information they gave us to go by and they still acted put out like we were just disgruntled people with nothing better to do than to make their lives miserable (which in fact was the other way around). Never in my life have I seen such depths of incompetence yet they are very quick to point the finger in the wrong direction. Every time I tried to fix it I was given an answer to get me out of their way for the moment. I am paying for a service (prepaid by the way) for which I am not receiving for a couple of months. Had to deal with a new person every time who wouldn't listen to the situation but just wanted to tell me I was wrong and the entire thing was my fault. How do you come in on day ten and act like I am the immediate problem and instantly get nasty? A while back I was on line and I was joking around with a customer in front of me and a woman who had already been at the counter walked past us. She said "you're smiling now but you haven't been in there yet". I did not know this person from Adam but fluffed it off and thought nothing of until now. These negative reviews here don't lie. We aren't irrational people who are just looking to make trouble for anyone. I get it, people have to make a living and things happen, but the situation caused by this location stopped me from being able to make my living and it's not acceptable, especially when they seemed annoyed by our presence there to rectify it. They were so quick to be defensive from the get-go that I had to ask the clerk to not get angry and that I was just trying to solve an issue and that if anyone should be upset it was us that such a major issue was being trivialized and disregarded. We couldn't have tried to be more patient - anyone else would have called them out on their BS excuses earlier. I really felt like they were taking our patience as carte blanche to blow off the entire issue and they didn't like it when they were finally called out on it. If you're not the problem there is no need to immediately become nasty or defensive. If you've ever walked in there in a good mood and left wondering if it was you that made things go sour I'm here to tell you that you're not. This is a miserable place with the worst customer service on the planet. No people skills whatsoever. Even the supervisor did not identify herself as a higher up when we dealt with her. It was only inadvertently that we realized she was the next level person to go to in order to correct the disaster. It's like they all want to hide over there and hope you go away.

Terrible service, don't even try to deliver packages that need to be signed for. Unreliable.
