- KRKate RyanDec 29, 20225.0Chatham Post Office saves the day!! Hopefully, this is a sign of better days for the Chatham Post Office! Liz Estevez, the postmaster from Bedminster who is currently serving as the Officer-in-Charge in Chatham while the current postmaster is on leave, basically performed a miracle just before Christmas! A special-order photo memory book for my son went missing when UPS dropped off a whole batch of deliveries to the wrong post office earlier last week. Liz made it her personal mission to track down my son's package which turned out to have been delivered to Rutherford. She arranged with the Rutherford Post Office to have it overnighted to Chatham. Liz kept me informed throughout the process with multiple phone calls and even called me from her home on Christmas Eve morning to let me know that the package had arrived in Chatham and was on its way to my house. Just as I imagined, the gift turned out to be my son's favorite, and the whole experience went from something that started out as aggravating to actually renewing my spirit. It was a great reminder to me of how our good deeds impact the lives of others. A big THANK YOU to Liz Estevez for her amazing efforts and cheers to better days to come for the Chatham Post Office!!

- OLO L (Owen L.)Sep 2, 20171.0Can stand going. There is always a line, even when I want to buy a stamp because they are so behind they haven't even got a stamp machine. Getting mail delivered to my house on a daily basis during the week is also a rarity. Oftentimes two or three days a week and not one person on my street has received mail. They have also taken out practically all the mail boxes around town, even the drive by one that isn't 50 feet from the post office building. I can only hope this sad excuse for a post office improves soon.
