I had a passport appointment at the Bloomingdale, NJ USPS location and arrived 5 minutes late, fully aware that this might affect my appointment. What I did not expect was the extremely rude and unprofessional treatment I received from the employee named Matt. Instead of calmly explaining the policy or offering any guidance on rescheduling, Matt was dismissive, curt, and showed no empathy whatsoever. His tone and attitude made an already stressful situation feel unnecessarily humiliating. The appointment was not proceeded with at all, and there was no attempt to be helpful or respectful in explaining next steps. I understand that rules are rules — but basic courtesy costs nothing. Passport appointments are important and stressful, and being treated with such disregard over a five-minute delay was incredibly frustrating. Public-facing employees should be able to enforce policies without being rude or condescending. This experience left a very negative impression of this USPS location, and I sincerely hope management addresses how customers are treated there.

It was about 7x39 and asked them recommendations for shipping and an estimate for them. Was told "I work here I don't know about anywhere else". Would've been fine if there wasn't an attitude and unfriendlyness about it. So I went to ups about 5 minutes away.
