If you enjoy being treated like you're on a prank show designed to test your patience, this USPS location is the place to be. I came in to ship a laptop—something I’ve done multiple times before without any issue, always using a QR code and always declaring it as electronics. Simple, right? Not when you’re dealing with a walking, talking glitch in the matrix named Shanon, who looked like she either just woke up from a nap or wandered in from another dimension.
According to her, the customer is now responsible for bringing in a printed paper that says the package contains batteries—because apparently, she got a “handbook” no one else on the planet has seen. Weird that I never received my official USPS Handbook as a customer. Must’ve gotten lost in the mail—go figure.
When I calmly tried to reason with her and offered to pay to print the paper at the post office, she just stared at me like I was asking her to do brain surgery. Enter her manager: equally useless, completely uninterested, and more focused on getting me to leave than actually solving the issue. Their only solution? “Go ship it somewhere else.”
Imagine that—your local post office telling you to go literally anywhere else because they can’t be bothered to help. The cherry on top? The nearest UPS is 30 minutes away.
USPS as a system feels like it’s still running on 1995 logic, and their employees reflect that same outdated, can’t-be-bothered energy. If robots replaced this staff tomorrow, I guarantee the service would improve.
Do better.

This is one of the cutest little post offices in the area, almost nostalgic like, out of a movie scene. More importantly, the friendliest staff works there. I had a work project to complete in which I had to ship out a large quantity of packages. Al & Brian helped me figure out pricing options and then even helped individually create a label for each box since the feature was disabled online all while being friendly and attentive. They even figured out ways to attend to other customers while managing my project so I wasn't holding the line up. Al & Brian really are an asset and did an amazing job. Forever grateful.
