In the last year, I've had one letter go completely MIA and two others take roughly three weeks to go from Andover, NJ to Philadelphia (a two hour drive...) Other people in the area have reported similar experiences. When I mentioned this, the person behind the counter listened with a bored expression and said nothing. I'm not sure I even got a shrug from them. Now I take my outgoing mail to Sparta or Newton instead of the post office three minutes from my house.

I went in yesterday because I had lost my receipt for a package I mailed out, and I desperately needed the tracking number. What felt like an impossible situation, Postmaster John Porada was able to solve. He went above and beyond to help me, and I am so grateful for his kindness and patience. I also want to mention how friendly the entire staff is. From John to William, to the sweet woman at the front counter with the beautiful blue eyes (I don’t know her name yet) — every single person is warm, helpful, and welcoming. Usually when I visit other post offices the employees seem rushed or a little rude, but that is not the case here. I’ll never go to another post office. I’m truly happy to have found this one!
