I went to go and pick up a package from the UPS spot, one cashier checking out a customer so I wait. Then I see her grab a tablet after the customer leaves, still waiting, then another employee comes up to check out the customer behind me, without even asking if I needed assistance! All the time being completely ignored by the first associate! I chime in and say I am picking up a package and haven’t been helped yet, the associate looks at the girl on the tablet and asks if she was helping me and she says, yes I needed the tablet for the customer on the phone! Umm really? So not only are you not helping me but you prevented someone else from helping me and she walks away after she checks out the one guy! and then the other associate proceeds to help someone on the phone! Communication goes a long way in customer service! All this girl had to do was acknowledge someone was waiting and give an update on why I needed to wait to be helped. Pretty simple had anyone been trained to actually deal and work with the public. Also it smelled like a sewer in the store. Do better at training your people!
