It is convenient, the lines are typically short when compared to the main office in Salem, and the personnel are friendly, courteous, and helpful. My understanding is the U.S. Postal Service has considered closing the North Salem branch for budgetary reasons over recent years. So, although the service hours might be somewhat limited, we should be appreciative of the services that are provided.
