- RMra Jah mantraSep 27, 20231.0I did not read a sign about parking and parked in a spot where no one else was so that I could get some work done virtually due to timing and trying to make appts work. Totally missed the sign that was only in one spot by the bushes. A man approached me explaining that I couldn’t park there and mentioned the sign. I responded saying oh, I didn’t know and I will leave. He continued to talk about the sign and how could I miss it, and talking about federal property and calling the cops. I was literally closing my computer as he stood by saying he wasn’t going to leave til I was gone. I kept explaining that I didn’t see the sign and I was leaving. It felt totally blown up and uncomfortable for an honest mistake. Like has anyone ever missed a sign? and I wasn’t in the way of anyone else and totally meant no harm, which I explained to him. Not sure what was going on with this guy to treat anyone like he did. He was scary and totally trying to show his power. I had no clue postal workers could treat people like that. His name was John baker.

Don’t have a car and work during the morning/ day so really only time I can check my box is when I leave work at 10pm. Now not being able to pick up a check to deposit it straight to my account and I will now be late on rent. Thanks North Conway Post Office
