- KAKelly ArnoldFeb 24, 20261.0I just stopped by the United States Postal Service in Keene to drop off two packages — simple enough. It was close to closing time, and as the clock struck 5, a short male staff member with short brown hair (clean shaven) announced to everyone still in line, “Alright guys, I need to close these doors preparing for closing.” I had just finished dropping off my packages and noticed my car was parked right out front near the door he was closing. I asked if I could quickly step out since I was literally right there. He abruptly responded, “I am closing right now.” I said I understood and tried to clarify my question, but he interrupted me. After I explained again, he said, “Oh yeah, of course,” but then mocked me by saying there is “only one door” which isn’t even accurate, as this location has multiple doors. He scoffed, laughed, and looked at the other customers as if to highlight the situation. Not to forget he was talking back to me and his tone was completely unacceptable. I’ve dropped off packages at this location before, even close to 5 PM, and never had an issue. This was the first time I encountered this employee, and the interaction was unnecessarily rude. I completely understand closing procedures, but there was no reason to be dismissive, interrupt, scoff, or mock a customer over a simple question. Professionalism and basic courtesy go a long way.

They just pile packages up next to the mail box in no particular order. They mix up packages and put them in the wrong boxes all the time. So frustrating.
