First I want to give a shout out to our mail carrier, Duncan, (in the lower Henry Law area) who consistently gives me superior service! Being disabled and on a 2nd floor, often times I can't make it down to our mail area. All I need to do is flag him down and he'll meet me on the steps. After John left, we had a continuous turnover of carriers. Fortunately, it looks like Duncan will be sticking around for a while. Great! Secondly, I must add that all who have served me at the Dover office, for nearly 40 years, have always been both knowledgeable and kind. Yes, we all know Marty! But the one who goes on and on and on....really needs to learn how to summarize & focus. I mean, most of us ARE on schedules, lol.

I understand things happen - weather, sickness, etc. - once in a while. But 4 days + Sunday with no mail is inexcusable.

We had a phenomenal experience. Marty was kind, patient, and knowledgeable. They were very busy and Marty was very thorough and efficient without making us feel rushed.

I normally don’t write reviews, but this post office has been the worst experience I’ve ever had. My mom mailed me a package with the correct address but without the unit number. While I understand that makes delivery difficult, the issue has been the staff’s attitude and lack of help. When I first went in, I was told to speak with the manager, who wrote my info on a sticky note and never followed up. My package has now been bouncing around for over a month. Multiple other USPS offices told me the package was in Dover and could be intercepted, yet when I returned to this office, the same employee was rude, dismissive, and insisted the opposite was true. She claimed they couldn’t give me my own package because it didn’t “match the 911 system” and told me to file an address change, which I had already done with no response. When I explained the package contained OTC medication that I needed but couldn’t find at the pharmacy here, she accused me of doing something illegal and threatened to submit a claim. Every visit has been met with the same disrespect. I don’t receive my mail consistently, they refuse to help with simple returns because they “don’t have a printer,” and I’ve overheard employees speaking negatively about me in the back. What’s even more frustrating is that my friends with the same issue were helped, and the staff is noticeably more polite to me when I’m with my boyfriend. When I go in alone, it’s a completely different experience. Overall, this office has repeatedly been rude, unhelpful, and unreliable. I just want to receive my mail and be treated respectfully. *** update they lost my package. The tracking says it’s in the office, they are aware it’s in the office they just “can’t find it” ****** unbelievable
