Center Ossipee NH post office is engaging in a campaign of lies, harassing phone calls to us, and retaliation because we filed online complaints with postal authorities.
We are just a couple who want our mail service restored.
We have had issues with a woman carrier named Linda for several years who, whenever she didn't feel like exiting her vehicle would simply not deliver our larger packages to our porch. This would happen randomly in all seasons and had nothing to do with a small rain puddle, snow, etc. She was simply incompetent and lazy and would drive off with our parcels , even filling out bogus 'attempt to deliver' forms ahead of time, and not delivering perishable packages and prescriptions. In all of the time this was happening, we never confronted her personally. We never approached or spoke, or had any contact with her..We tried to take it up with the post office in hopes that they would speak to her and we could resolve the issue, or that she would be let go, because frankly she was not doing the job she was hired to do.
We never got any cooperation from Lorey pendarvis, or anyone else at Center Ossipee post office. We never got any cooperation and they never made any attempt to resolve the issue. We kept trying for a long time.
An incident happened where this carrier never delivered the package, but she wrote 'package delivered-left on porch'. This of course caused a panic of wondering where the missing package actually was. I went to the post office in person that day along with a witness who heard all that transpired there. We left with no resolution and there was no concern or interest shown by the counter help. It was at that point and after years of this incompetent carrier and being continually rebuffed by staff at the post office that we finally filed a complaint with the USPS. In the 26 years I have lived here, I had very nice and conscientious carriers. (We remember Marie and how wonderful she was!) I never filed a complaint before this.
As soon as we filed the complaint, Lorey (with helpful lies by Linda, the carrier), outraged that we had filed a complaint, stated that she would not deliver our mail.
She decided then and there to wage a campaign of malicious retaliation.
We have an audio recording of Lorey speaking to another post office employee while calling us and leaving a message when we were not home. She did not realize her phone was not hung up evidently was still open and they were being recorded. The several minute call is grossly unprofessional and full of threats, disrespectful and dishonest comments regarding us, and stating that they will not deliver our packages, and will use "water" (a 1-2 inch deep puddle at the end of the drive when it rains heavily) as the "excuse".
There is no "water", but no packages are being delivered. Linda then made up a story of a 'safety' concern which she and Lorey concocted. (Property impediment and 'safety are the only 2 legal reasons for non delivery, so they lied to keep the vendetta going.
We know that what 'Sunshine' said in a review he/she left below is true. These people are despicable liars. They made abusive, harassing phone calls to us and stopped mail delivery because we filed complaints. Think this isn't true? We have audio recordings, witnesses, and documents proving all of it.
We now have sent a package detailing everything to the Postmaster Gen. in Washington.

I look forward each day to see the friendly smiles from Sandi and Lorey. They truly become your friend and when I needed support after losing family members they supported me and hugged me as I cried. They are both OUTSTANDING members to our little town. Calling them racist is pathetic and if you simply ask for help they go about and beyond. Don't forget that they are Humans just like you. Don't throw stones at glass houses, have compassion and try doing their job. You are not perfect.
