If you have a driveway the carriers will not bring packages up to the building, they will insist you go to the post office to pick them up. If you try to complain about it the postmaster will accuse you of lying, even if there are three different people from three households there to complain about the same thing from the same mail carrier, she interrupts constantly and kicks anyone out of the building who asks her not to be rude and iinterrupt them when they are trying to explain their issue to her.
