The woman was polite and all but she said to me you have to have an escort to come here so you don't "hurt yourself" Well let's think about this now.. I've made it 67 years without an escort, 4 years on an aircraft carrier, time on the flight Deck... I think I can make it to the break room and back to the dock without an issue. Again she was not rude but this is classic post office bullshit. That seriously was the wrong thing to say. She should come down to the Denver P&DC and take a lap. As long as I have on my badge and my safety vest, in general I don't have anybody approach me. Crazy stuff man. I'll get my snacks at the truck stop before I show up. And yes the large dock with the American flag is the East Dock of the Denver P&DC, not to be confused with the North Platte facility which is about 1/100th of the size. With all that said I think I'm going to walk across over to the break room here in Denver, one of many break rooms and hopefully I won't hurt myself along the way 😜

The postmaster was super rude about their screwup. You need mail I suggest having someone who can handle rudeness deal with them on any of their screwups.
- TKTravis KinneyAug 12, 20251.0The people who work at the North Platte distribution center are either stretched so thin that they can’t keep up with all the daily parcels, or so incompetent that they can’t properly do their jobs. I hate when my packages that I’m either sending or receiving go through North Platte because I know it’ll easily add a few days on to the shipping times. For instance, I recently had a package that came from Omaha to North Platte, and the clowns at the distribution center in North Platte sent it back east to Omaha instead of west to where the delivery address is. Either stupid stuff like that or it sits in limbo for days before someone decides to do their job. Unfortunately, North Platte distribution center gives even more argument to Republicans to privatize the USPS. Do better before you don’t exist any longer thanks to your incompetence.
