If they can't drive up to it and drive off they won't even attempt to deliver mail/packages. We make sure to never block our mailbox but we live near businesses and a funeral home which means people occasionally do park in front of or too close to it (we can't exactly block off the street and stop people from parking on it). It continues to be frustrating as we watch them drive past our house only to get out and walk up to several houses and business next to us since their mailbox is not on the street but at their door. Have gone to the post office to bring it up and they told us our only other option is to buy a PO box if we want reliable mail delivery.
