- JJJim JanickiJan 23, 20261.0I paid about $11 for priority mail and instead of giving me a cardboard envelope, the clerk said tyvek style envelope would hold my contents just fine because it's "reinforced" material. The envelope arrived 15 days later (instead of 3) in a plastic bag with a big apology on it. The contents were gone and I had to contact my bank to put a stop payment on the check inside. I wish I would've followed my gut and not listened to the clerk. I also wish the post office would've contacted me about the issue - they only sent the note to the recipient, even though they had my tracking information. Next time i'll use UPS or Fedex. I'm done with the Post office.
