First the hours of operations is outrageous, I changed my address effective 5/1/25 online, never saw a mail delivery truck come down my street, I live on a dead end and work from home, so I should’ve seen something by now. I went to the downtown office and was told that online service doesn’t work, yet they took my money and was told this office was zoned for my address. Visited the office and was told that it was verified as of 5/1/25, then the woman said to me well you have to give correspondence of new address to any merchants etc. Which I had already done, I’ve actually received packages from FedEx and Amazon but NOTHING from USPS. Tried calling the Consumer Affairs number listed to complain but apparently it’s a number to no where, so here it is 5/27/25 and I have YET to receive a mail. Diabolical!!
- JSJ. G. (Shatteredhelix)Jan 13, 20252.0I'm rating this post office 2 stars ONLY because the guy I've dealt with at the front counter is so nice, otherwise, I would give zero starts if I could. The operation hours of this post office are INSANE. They open after most people have to be at work, and close before most people get off from work, making it difficult, if not nearly impossible for many people to pick up a package or anything that needs to be signed for. If you work more than 10 minutes away, you can't even go pick it up on your lunch break unless you take additional time off. I don't know what the thought process behind determining these should be the hours of operation, but whomever decided it should be fired and someone that actually KNOWS what proper hours of operation should be needs to be put in their place.
