Helpful workers, even when a mistake is made. I noticed a high priority in making sure customers are satisfied.

These ladies were super supportive and worked to help figure out a tricky return! I’ll be happy to drive to this store from Elkin in the future!

I’m updating my previous 5-star review because the service at this location has noticeably declined. My most recent experience was both frustrating and disappointing. I paid over $100 to ship a package to a P.O. Box after being told by two employees up front that it would be possible. A few days later, I received a notice from UPS saying the package couldn’t be delivered to a P.O. Box and was being returned. Tracking shows it was delivered back to this UPS Store and signed for by Annette on 2/5/26 at 9:55 a.m. When I went in to retrieve it, the same gentleman who originally told me it could be shipped that way was working the counter. Instead of making a real effort to locate the package, he very quickly shut down the search and suggested I “just call customer service.” It felt dismissive and unhelpful, especially considering he helped create the issue in the first place. The package is still missing, and what’s most frustrating isn’t even the cost—it’s the lack of accountability and effort. This used to be my favorite UPS location because of how helpful and dependable it was, but lately it’s been a letdown. I truly hope management looks into what’s going on here.

I’m changing my previous 5-star review because of recent issues at this location and the decline in service since the new staffing. Recently, I paid over $100 to ship a package to a P.O. Box after being told by two employees at the front desk that it would be possible. A few days later, I received a notice from UPS stating that delivery to a P.O. Box wasn’t possible and the package was being returned. The tracking showed it was delivered back to this UPS Store and signed for by Annette—a staff member I’ve had great experiences with in the past. However, when I went in to retrieve it, the package was nowhere to be found. I visited two days in a row after being asked to “come back tomorrow,” and both times, the employees up front showed very little effort in trying to locate it. Instead, they suggested I call the UPS customer service number. What’s most disappointing isn’t the lost shipping cost—it’s the lack of accountability and care from the newer staff. This used to be my favorite UPS location because of how reliable and helpful it once was, but my recent experience has really changed my view. .

BEWARE OF THE KNOLLWOOD STREET LOCATION! I visited this location twice and had the same frustrating experience. January 25, 2026 and February 4, 2026. The staff is friendly but that’s it. The first visit I had a color copy made for $0.50, I did not have cash so the manager was going to add a small service fee of $4.50 to use my debit card. I bought a nice card so I didn’t have to pay the service fee but there was no envelope included. February 4, I needed to return a package using a UPS return label. The clerk stated since I didn’t have it printed out, it would cost $4.00 to receive my email and print the free return label. I then attempted to mail a small package that was 10” x 5 “ and weighed 8 ounces. I requested the least expensive way and was told it would be sent UPS ground and cost $33.85. The same package to send by priority mail from the Post Office, which would arrive in 3 days cost $12.95. The Post Office inside the Hanes Mall is never busy and all the staff is knowledgeable and friendly.
