- KZKristie ZweigJul 14, 20251.0We had a change in mail carrier about 3 weeks ago for usps and haven't been getting mail now until 6pm, delivered to wrong address, not getting letter mail, mail held at post office by mistake. We're really ready to go into post office and complain. You have one job, deliver the mail!! Its ridiculous! Our old mail carrier was so good!

How did one package from the SAME merchandiser get delivered but the other item from them got returned due to “incorrect address”? It makes no sense, my mail has been all messed up since living in Wilkesboro!
- TPtammera porterFeb 6, 20231.0I have lived in Wilkes County half my life and my mother and my grandparents have used this post office for years. But lately whenever I go there the price is doubled what it is if I go to North Wilkesboro. I’ve been mailing magazines in the cardboard envelopes. If I mail them here they say it’s a parcel and it’s nearly 6 dollars. If I go to North Wilkesboro, they charge me for an envelope and it’s $3 and some change. Twice I went in to get an estimate on mailing a package and they gave me a price. The next day when I came back to mail it, it was higher. Also, if you bring in a box that you purchased at Walmart and the box has the measurements on it of a 2 x 4 box. The girl there will pull out this disgusting worn out tape measure and she will say this is not a 2 x 4 box is a 3 x 5 and charge you more. !!! This should not be allowed! Yes, it is mainly one person that works there but still this is ridiculous!! I have heard other non-favorable comments by some of the male carriers of it being a hostile work environment also. Someone needs to get a handle on this! In the meantime, I will be driving to the North Wilkesboro Post Office
