USPS no longer delivers packages to private drives in this location. My disabled father, who is a also veteran of our country and child of a retired mail carrier who spent 25+ years doing door to door deliveries on foot, has had ups and downs of service through this location. For 20+ years of him being at this address, it has basically came down to "who" was delivering packages that day and whether or not the current post master enforces their carriers to do their job. Heartbreaking to hear the reputation of what was once a reliable and respected service has allowed themselves to be lowered to standards of such, by said incompetence. Generations before us have worked hard, felt a sense of honor even, to build the usps into what once was a staple in our country centered around reliability and high standards of trust and competence. Those who seem to not like their job, lack guidance, and knowledge of the signifucant role USPS has in our communities and our country --truly undervalue themselves. Complete lack of enforcement and accountability have ruined this USPS at this location, as evident by the significantly high change in Postmasters and low reliability/high complaints/low ratings. This office needs a leader in place who values the history and enforces the standards once believed in by the United States Postal Service. Update: Dad was able to transfer packages from Amazon to other carrier services. Did not seem to work as one slipped through. Mind boggling to say the least. So, it said expected delivery today. Despite his loss of faith in the current system, he awaited. Sees the USPS vehicle on camera, in excitement begins to venture outside and down the ramps in his wheelchair. THEY KEPT GOING! The email from regional rep in Greensboror said they were told that none of the houses on this road get delivered to, despite the fact that is just inconsistent, and in reality its good for a few deliveries then not again out of the blue. AND THEY SURE STILL DO! AT THE END OF THE DAY PACKAGING DELIVERED ARE Completely inconsistent, and based on who the current post master is to, sorter, or carrier that decides to either cateogorize it correctly or in the "can't deliver today" pile or just chooses not to deliver it. . It's a shame really. We had new gravel layed down a while back to fix our portion. Then a lady carrier stated she got a flat on the main road, the previous postmaster along with other neighbors present and with camera footage in hand determined it wasn't true. And deliveries went back to normal for a bit... now back to this! Worst part is the area the woman claimed was bad 1.5 YEARS ago was *again on the main drive -same as the one they were on today.* Not even kidding, they drove right passed our house slowed down, and delivered to a house passed ours. Now I get it was likely not the lady who seems to cause the most issues. BUT this means that at some point during sorting the package was placed in the "can't deliver pile" to later be updated as "not home holding at post office at discretion of the customer" just another lie. Dad is disabled and does not drive and is an independent person who rarely asks for help, because often he is the one helping other. He would give any genuine human being the shirt off his back. I don't mind coming out when I can however I am often out of town with work. AND IT IS THE PRINCIPLE OF THE MATTER, NOW. He should have the same access to receive mail as anybody else. He shouldn't have to beg for packages to be delivered, especially when others on the same road are getting them. It's a darn shame that's for sure. Hope this gets "sorted."

They're very good in person but they handle packages like a kids toys and breaking packages I've shipped out for ebay sales. I've also had issues with stuff not arriving sometimes. I really can't recommend anywhere else nearby though, so, it's one of those things that has to be dealt with.
