- JKJake KellerJun 8, 20231.0I went here to send a package and paid extra for tracking. When I tried to search the tracking number online nothing came up for days after it was sent. Their excuse was that their Internet went out at the Vilas post office. This location did not offer any help or assistance to finding my package or initiating a refund. The associates name was Susan and she raised her voice on the phone with me when I shared my concern and was unhelpful.. I would not recommend this post office. You’re better off going to Boone and sending packages there. This one is just not reliable
- LDLynda “Lynsey” DownsAug 3, 20221.0The USPS customer service number is impossible to reach a live person thru, so I recalled Vilas as having nice clerk's from having my postal box there years ago, so I called the Vilas USPS. I think the associate that answered was named Susan? She acted like I was asking her to do something illegal when I asked questions concerning an address correction request that I sent out weeks ago. My neighbor moved away a month ago and despite a court judgement against her (her dog attacked and almost killed my dogs, plus her dog bit me in the process). I recall the Vilas post office as having pleasant associates but I can see that isn't the case anymore.
