- CWCody WinglerOct 25, 20251.0We have a carrier (not our normal one) who refuses to deliver to our mailbox. We were waiting on a bed rail for my mom who is getting out of rehab Monday and now she won’t be able to get herself out of bed. Spoke to the postmaster and was told that they would talk to him but nothing has been done about it. Update: same issue keeps occurring. Would take away the one star if it would let me.

I dont know what's got into the USPS since covid but its time to get act together. With them stamp prices going up maybe you can pay individuals back for things they purchase and not receive. Last I looked thats stealing. Always was told its a federal offense to mess with someone's mail. Does that hold the USPS accountable also?

HarperAug 4, 20251.0The Taylorsville post office has a policy that they will not deliver to homes not on the main highway, such as a private right-of-way; ; because of this policy they force you to rent a post office box, then if you order something or have mail delivered. The post office box number is not part of the address under your street address, which is where your mail should be delivered to begin with, their policy is to return the package or piece of mail to send her without notifying you or even attempting to deliver the package or piece of mail at all. I've attempted to address this ridiculous policy several times and the employees hide behind a ridiculous policy set by the local postmaster. I filed a complaint with the postal service and was basically told there's nothing they could do. I know I'm not the only one that has had this problem, yet, we are still forced to rent post office boxes at an ever increasing yearly cost. Sadly, there is no alternative if one wants their mail, so we are forced to do business with these incompetents at our local post office. Something really needs to change, yet the very government agency that can change it refuses to do so. Go figure.
