- BHBill Hier (Sells Harley-Davidsons)Feb 19, 20171.0I have never had such a problem sending mail in my entire life. the Summerfield post office manages to shred, lose, a piece of mail absolutely once a month and I have to cancel checks and resend bills that are now late because of their carelessness. The delivery people are friendly and I certainly don't know what the problem is but I have found loose outgoing mail floating in puddles in my neighborhood on more than one occasion. I can no longer use my mailbox for outgoing mail I physically have to send my mail with my wife to Virginia so that they can send it because if it anyway goes through Summerfield something is going to be lost. The latest piece of shredded mail with the a missing check they gave back to me with an apology sort of note, was dropped off in the mailbox at the Summerfield post office
