Instead of inundating the PO with people in line it would be nice to make a brief call to take care of business quickly. I do not know why the direct phone numbers are top secret.

It’s not that hard to deliver the right package to the correct address especially considering the technology that is now used to do it. You’ve delivered my packages to the wrong address twice now and then throw your hands up and basically tell me “oh well”. Unacceptable. My address is clearly posted on my mailbox and on the house. No excuse for this.

If you travel to the post office, you'll find that your packages are not being held there, but are instead on a delivery truck. There will be no apologies from anyone - only support and excuses for their mia co-workers. Within the next few days or up to about a week later, whenever a delivery person feels like doing their job, the packages will finally show up at your house. If the packages contain perishables, prescriptions or require a timely delivery, you are out of luck. This strategy to put off deliveries has been occurring for more than a year. It's post offices like Southport's that make a strong case for privatization of the service along with deep reductions of the current staff. They just don't care.
