  I came down to NC for a friend passing away and getting her affairs in order. I went in Saturday to send out a packages of my friend’s mail to her family and I was greeted by a clerk named Nicole. She asked me how I was doing and I explained what was going on. She asked me if I knew about priority mail forwarding. To which I did not and promptly explained what it is and how it would benefit the purposes needed. She was so insightful and caring as she took care of my needs at the post office. It was such a wonderful interaction after everything I’ve been going through. I wish I could say the same about all the clerks there. I did come in the following Monday and was assisted by a clerk named Michelle. She barely acknowledged when I was there, she was chit chatting with someone at the counter before me that must of been a friend because they were done with his business for five minutes before he left. When I approached her tone was snippety and she acted like I was a nuisance being there. Last I checked this was your job, if you don’t like it find something different. It’s unfortunate that my experience was so drastically different when I was down here for personal matters. Nicole should train them to do better. Thank you for giving me such a positive experience during a sad time in my life. Keep setting the example! :)

  Sneads Ferry post office employees are helpful and friendly. They always have a good attitude that makes this errand more pleasant. The space itself is clean and inviting, with a local flair.

  They try to close early and discourage you from coming in. They are afraid they're going to do a little bit of work. Rude and condescending.

  Y'all can't be serious; it's like a trail of mediocrity. Sorry I ordered a bunch of stuff, but this is your job. I have a porch that probably would have, at worst, made the boxes damp. The best part is the ripped envelope just chillin' in the rain. Everything (somehow) is accounted for, so it wasn't porch pirates. Y'all gotta do better.

  They strike again. Sent out a Father’s Day gift card on June 10th, 2025 with a Home Depot gift card inside standard postage (learned from my mistake), and my dad never got it. The likelihood of this place either losing it, sending it to the wrong place, or stealing it is very high after all the other issues we’ve had. It’s been well over a month and it’ll probably never be reconciled. Filed a claim, of course their website is always crashing too.
