I have a porch that probably would have, at worst, made the boxes damp. The best part is the ripped envelope just chillin' in the rain. We’ve been into the local post office several times and they say it should be delivered. They say they’ve spoken to the mailman but he still keeps sending everything back. There’s a mailbox and the porch is accessible for package deliveries so no reason for it to be returned for several months.

They're only open from 9:00 - 4:30 p.m. M-F and are completely closed (no one available to help you) from 12:00-1:00 each day. They are also open from 1000-1200 on Saturday, but expect to wait a long time in line if you come then. I have a PO Box here which is supposed to have a key for a lock box when you receive a package. However, I have received several packages and not once has there been a key for said lockbox placed in available. Instead I get a notice saying I have a package available for pickup...but unless I leave work early or wait until the 2-hour window on Saturday, there isn't any way to get packages in a timely fashion. Additionally, the postmaster for this office is very abrasive / rude when you have the unfortunate occasion to deal with her on the phone. It's no wonder the Postal Service is in such awful decline.
