I had a package meant to be delivered on December 26th, it was delivered to the incorrect mailbox, which resulted in my package getting stolen. Due to this USPS doing their "investigation" and being unable to retrieve the package, they get to wipe their hands of the situation and my package is still not in my possession. My package was stolen due to their misdelivery and it is unfair that I may not even get reimbursed for my package and USPS gets to say they did their jobs, when they didn't.

Their Informed Delivery system isn’t accurate either—half the time it shows mail that never arrives or misses items that do. There have also been days where they come into the neighborhood, deliver to a few houses, and then leave without finishing the route. Overall, the service has become frustrating and inconsistent.

Idk if they’re scanning as delivered before delivering packages, or carelessly delivering packages to other people’s mailbox during this holiday season, but it’s ridiculous having repeated missing packages. We shouldnt have to hope our neighbors will be good samaritans and reship packages that aren’t theirs that end up delivered to them.
