Went into this USPS in Pineville, NC this morning 11/15/25. There was an older, disheveled man working who was sitting behind the desk on his phone and did not acknowledge me. I was the only customer in there. When I walked up to the desk he was very rude and acted like it was a bother to provide service. When I paid, a screen popped up to review service with a frown, neutral, or smiley face. The man quickly put his arm over the desk and clicked a happy face for himself before I could do anything. He absolutely does not deserve a smiley face.

Went to pick up my package today because UPS gave it to USPS The white middle-aged going bald postman that work in the office was rude as hell he told me to come back in 30 minutes and my package will be ready then when he gave me my package he had an attitude talking about technically when I supposed to give out packages if it's got my address and my name and I'm showing you identification it shouldn't be no problem I pick up packages before up there with no issue he definitely is a rude person and very nasty I think he need to retire maybe that's not the job for him cuz he definitely not a people person and we would have been fighting for my package

I am not sure about some of the problems others are facing such as packeges being stolen or saying delivered on tracking bit nothing is in the box. I am not sure if some of these people understand what to expect USPS. This is the best location I'm my experience BY FAR. They are the only Post Office I could find I the Charlotte area with 24/7 365 day PO Box access. So if you buy a size 3-5 BOX most packages will fit in it and you can pick it up without having to wait in. Line knowing that it is highly unlikely to be stolen since it's in your box by 10 am unless it's package delivered by (e.g. UPS, FedEx Amazon Prime) unless you are enrolling in their most useful additional features: 1. Street Address for your PO BOX so they will accept mail from all carriers instead of just from USPS.This allows to keep your mail separate and safe From where you live (especially if you have roommates, live in apartment, etc). 2. Signature on file for packages that are valued at $500 or less, but require A signature. -> they will have you sign once and use that signature they have on file as proof of signature for the package so it can be delivered inside your box. It is hard for me to get mail during business hours sometimes because I work during business hours and live in an apartment complex that leaves packages outside the front door in plain sight for anyone to easily steal. The office does not accept packages. USPS delivered the package to the apt at about 2 lm and I heard a knock but the man delivering had to keep on his route understandably so it was sitting on front of my door which is fine because that's how USPS operates. It's just that it will sit in front of my door for at least 4 hours before I get home from work to retrieve it. I only ever shipped one package to see if it would still be there after it was delivered and it was because it was on a day that I was actually at the apartment around 2 so I heard him knocking and immediately retrieved the package. So luckily I was able to pick it up off the ground quickly and accept it, but after that experience I decided I needed a more secure way of receiving packages. The answer was a PO BOX and I needed one that has at least some Saturday hours so if I got a yellow.slip for a big package I could go on sat and get it. They have 24/7 PO Box Access you cannot beat that. If you cannot afford a larger size then you can get a size 1 box which costs around $20 for three months. I prefer at least size 3 otherwise you'll never see you're packages inside your box after hours. You'll get a yellow slip indicating that you will have to pick it up in person due to the size of the shipment. Totally understandable and they always do an awesome job of arranging your items such that they can all fit still saving both them and me time.nitsna win win to get a PO Box here because you have a secure place to receive mail if you don't own a home or don't have anyone to accept packages for you while you are working. Cost is minimal. They offer three payment plans; three, six ,and twelve month periods paid in full for the select no period. If you choose three months you get. Worse deal and are required to enroll in autopay which takes your auto pays your bill up to 15 days before it is due. This is not ideal for me so I choose the 6 month plan and not enroll in autopay so that I can control how early I pay the bill a bit easier. Also the twelve month plan is the exact same price as the 6 month so you might as well get the 6 month so if you need to close out your box early it is easier to do so. Best Post Office experience I've had in Columbia, SC and in NC. The employees are direct in their wording sometimes, but they are not trying to be rude to you. They just already know the answer to 99.99% of questions that are frequently asked and also answered on the website so they respond in a direct manner because they just know what they are doing and they are always busy doing some kind of work processing our packages. So give this one a try. You will not be disappointed 😁.
