- TTTony ToneDec 1, 20251.0I visited the Paw Creek Post Office today, December 1st, and arrived around 2:30 PM. I waited about 15 minutes to get inside, which I understood since only two people are allowed in the retail space at a time. No issue there. Once I finally got in, the experience went downhill quickly. I had a simple package (pictured below) that needed maybe 5–6 inches of tape, literally one strip just to secure the bag so the barcode could be scanned. Before saying a single word or offering any greeting, the woman working looked at my package, pointed, and said, “Read my sign.” I asked politely if she could just use one strip of tape to secure the bag so she could take the package, and she told me no, and that I had to pay $3.99 for their tape or “go down the street to the dollar store and get some.” Instead of providing basic courtesy or reasonable customer service, she was short, dismissive, and unnecessarily rude. It honestly took more time for her to be rude than it would’ve taken to place a single piece of tape on the bag and scan the barcode. There was only one employee working, and unfortunately the service was blatantly inconsiderate. Even though I live down the street, I will gladly drive across town to another post office before returning to the Paw Creek location.
