The package went through customs and was delayed for over a month. That might be expected, but I reached US Customs directly and discovered that they had cleared it a full month before DHL updated its status in their system. So it was apparently sitting lost in a DHL warehouse. Today, 40 days later, it was finally out for delivery. But I got a "delivery attempted" update on my tracking page even though no DHL delivery vans had been in my neighborhood. I contacted customer support by phone and they confirmed that the DHL vehicle had been nowhere near my address when they created the fake "delivery attempted" update. DHL has been the most unprofessional and unorganized shipping company imaginable. Even after all this time I don't know whether I'll ever get my package due to DHL's behavior. It's ridiculous and unacceptable.
