The main branch location is really fine and the people there working seem to be able to put up with humanity and remain kind and personable. The difficulty in finding and keeping good help seems so obvious though when mail carries is concerned that one has to laugh or cry. My regular carrier is awesome and a real treasure to know. Her substitutes are at times as deserving of respect. But where in the world did they find the other on occasion? The mailbox with flay up for pickup can be and is just ignored and driven past if no junk mail is to be delivered that day. I asked about that to find that a union allows just "service". And a couple days ago I notice a large wad of mail which was exciting to find. I looked through it all and found a few day's worth of neighbor's mail to walk around and deliver. Do you see the problem there?

The roads are fine - where is our mail? Fed Ex delivered. When you call down to the post office they never answer the phone either. Going to the branch is even worse. USPS need to find out what is going on at this office.

- MSM SmithJan 21, 20261.0Resident's have about a 10% chance packages will be delivered. Most of the postal carriers are incapable of handling a box over 5lbs due to poor health and life choices. After residents wait 30 to 45 minutes at the post office to obtain the packages the post workers were to inept to deliver, they are rude, disrespectful, and treat residents as though they are disturbing their day. Everyone understands they get paid by the hour, but maybe putting about 30% effort into the job instead of 10% would make a huge difference in the interactions with the residents of Morganton.
