He gave me several ideas and options for new solid state drives and walked me through what was wrong with my computer. He wasn't able to recover the data but is in the process of sending the old drive off in hopes of recovering it. In the meantime he replaced the drive and added a backup to prevent another loss of data. Computer seems to actually work faster then it did before thanks to his suggestion for the new drive.
