The postmaster here couldn't manage a lemonade stand and on top of it he is arrogant and doesnt want to own his incompetance despite all of these reviews. He gaslights and avoids any mention of his deficiency.

I moved to NC four years ago. The mail service out of this post office is the worst I have ever had in my life, and I lived in both NYC and on Long Island (some of the busiest zip codes in the country). Our carrier will drive by the mailbox if there is a car parked within 30 feet on wither side! Some days our entire cul de sac gets no delivery at all - and it could be a sunny day with 72 degrees. Packages are rammed into mailboxes - crushing the contents - rather than being out on the porch. Often the mail reeks of cigarette smoke, as the carrier openly smokes in the vehicle. I once had a statement that said a paid priority package was delivered when in fact it was at the post office. Some of the ladies are nice, and one is highly efficient, but the whole place looks disorganized and dirty. It needs a full review and restructuring of personnel.

just called both the general number and the location number. General number is AI and will text you a link to an AI chat and then “disconnect” the call. The location number, I called 3 times in a row. Both rang and then went to the dial tone after many rings, no voicemail option. The third time i called, they just unplugged the phone i guess? cause the call “cannot be completed” at this time. Again no voicemail option. Absolutely wild.

I am writing to formally complain about repeated and unresolved mail delivery issues at my apartment on Langtree. This has been an ongoing problem for over a year. During my first travel nurse assignment, while I was away for approximately one month, my mail carrier made the decision to return all of my mail to sender without my request or authorization. I reported this issue directly to the postmaster at that time, yet no corrective action was taken and the same carrier remains assigned to my route. Recently, I went on another assignment and properly submitted a mail hold from December 22 through January 7. Despite this, one package was delivered during the hold period, and another package was marked as “ready for pickup” at the post office. I have visited the post office three separate times to retrieve this package and was told each time that the carrier was not present and that I would receive a call once she returned. I was never contacted. In addition to my personal experiences, multiple residents in my apartment complex have complained about mail being delivered to the wrong addresses, placed in incorrect mailboxes, or returned to sender without cause. This appears to be a consistent pattern of mishandling, not an isolated incident. I am originally from Los Angeles, where post offices handle significantly higher mail volumes, and I have never experienced issues like this. The lack of follow-up, accountability, and resolution at this location is unacceptable.

Mailed a$100 .00 home depot gift card to my mother in Norridge I'll. The postal service STOLE IT ! They had the oddesity to Mail my mom the birthday card with the torn envelope in a usps envelope with.an apology letter no gift card though .Thieves at the USPS stole a gift card from an elderly lady , PATHETIC SHAME . Don't know where it happened but mailed it from Williamson rd po to Norridge I'll. Not the first incident but it will be the last . As I will only ship/receive junk mail through the rip off unaccountable service . I'll pay extra for UPS or FED EX. Like I stated , not the only incident , we could go on about lost IRS papers sparking audit , registered and certified mail . What a joke . Mr president, please get these worthless people out of business .
