Always so slowwww. They are friendly but the line always moves at a snails pace. Need to stop coming here. Writing this from the line.

Only one postal worker at the counter. Line wasn't too long but the customer who was at the counter had a lot of transactions.

Don't go on a Saturday because the line will probably stretch from there to Terre Haute. Also, I had an important package arrive at this facility right before the recent snow storm and they sent it back to the USPS in Gastonia two days later. Would it not have made sense to keep my package there, since it's the area where I live? Why send it backwards? It seems like such an impractical and inefficient way to do business... and frustrating for the customer that is waiting. I can't blame people for switching to UPS and FedEx.

The employees here are patient and kind and seem to always have a good attitude despite the never ending workload. It’s the post office so there’s always a line and much like the dmv, the speed depends on the complexity of the issues the people in front of you have, not the employees. They have a self service option which is nice and I was only not able to use it once during the holidays because it was out of label paper. If a package is too large for the self service drop bin, they said you can put it on the counter (after you’ve affixed your label, checked out on the kiosk etc). It’s in the middle of town so it’s just a busy location which is the only downside since, even with 3 people working, you can still wait a while due to everyone in line needing something different.
