I live in a house on a corner lot with the mailing address on the main road but my mailbox on the side street. Sunday deliveries of packages can be problematic because the substitute driver doesn't know this. It's resulted in delivery issues from time to time ranging from "undeliverable" messages to misdeliveries. When it has, I call the Iron Station branch and they have always been very helpful in sorting things out. Today the carrier retrieved a misdelivered package and brought it to me in less than 30 minutes from the time I called. I'm grateful for small town service like this. I'm not sure I'd have even gotten someone to answer my call if I still lived in Charlotte!

USPS sent my package to a different Post Office and tried to claim it was our request. Then tried to say no one was home but could not explain why at different Post Office. Had problems with the Iron Stztion Post Office for 25 years. Never open and nothing but attitude when you ask questions. The local Post Master needs to.be replaced ASAP along with the Staff. Open the doors to regular hours and deliver the mail DAILY!
