- JGJaclyn GroenewoudApr 11, 20251.0The experience I had at this post office was baffling. My husband and I have not been receiving mail to our home for over a month now due to a lock box issue. I have been driving to the post office, 25 minutes away, each time we need to get our mail. After being very accommodating and patient for this length of time, I finally decided to call and speak with someone about it. I spoke with a woman name “Imogene” who stated she is the post master there. She told me that this was a maintenance issue and that it is not her job to fix. I asked for the direct number to the maintenance department and/or contact information for her direct report and she told me that this was not possible and that she was not allowed to give out the information of her direct report. I then asked for her full name and she told me she would not give me her name because she was nervous she would get stalked on Facebook. The entire conversation was extremely strange and unprofessional and it is scary that someone like this is in a leadership role. I also observed this individual “shush” the poor clerk who had just started her new role at the front when she was asking a question to help resolve my issue. If you ever have an issue here, be prepared if Imogene is the person you end up speaking with.
