Went in for my passport appointment. Ms Anetia was amazing. She was very helpful. I was in and out in about 10 minutes because I had my documents ready to go. Highly recommend coming here for passport services, make an appt first online!

Super rude, and there’s a major discrepancy in their rules. My last name is different from the child I’m a legal guardian for. Because of his age and the fact that we don’t share a last name, they refused to let me submit a forwarding or address change for him. Since I couldn’t check him off on my own form, they suggested I individually contact his doctors and anyone else who might send him mail to notify them of the address change. Meanwhile, my husband and daughter do share a last name, so hers was processed with zero issue and all of her mail will be forwarded automatically. Make that make sense. They also gave me a hard time trying to forward my business mail as well, with the same rude tone and dismissive demeanor. Then I was told it could take up to five days for forwarding to take effect. I said that was fine and that I would just stop by the old address to check the mailbox until everything was fully switched over. Without knowing anything about my situation, the man responded rudely that he highly suggested I not do that and that they don’t recommend it. So I’m just supposed to not pick up my own mail for five days? For context, no one currently lives at the old address, the mailbox is on a public sidewalk, and we are well within our rights to continue checking it until the form is fully processed. If we didn’t have to use USPS at all, we wouldn’t, but as everyone in this country knows, we don’t have a choice. Anything else I need to mail will be going elsewhere. And why do I have to wait in a line of ten people just to request the form? Why does every facility look like it hasn’t been updated since the 90s? And why are there only ever two people working the front? So many questions, but honestly, the funding situation for USPS suddenly makes a lot of sense. What a joke.

I have called this place for several days and for most of those days could not get anyone to pick up. Now that someone is picking up they tell you they are transferring your call or looking into what your calling about and place you on hold. I understand you putting me on a short hold but over 10 min and no one returns is NOT good customer service skills nor is it professional. I understand being backed up but what I do not understand is not receiving the assistance I need even if you say to me to please give you a moment and YOU actually come back. Please DO BETTER.
