- SFSierra FoxMay 29, 20251.0Our mailbox is always left open, including all of our roads mailboxes! I get my neighbors mail, packages are always late and soaked and wet when it rains because the mail delivery person doesn’t close the mailbox. Our packages are left in the rain constantly when the porch is 2’ from our sidewalk. We have made several complaints and nothing seems to change. Seems like the entire county is having trouble and no one seems to care. All of our bills still get delivered via paper mail. I wouldn’t even trust to send anything in the mail anymore because of how terrible the USPS has gotten. It is sad!! Alexander county needs to rehire people it seems….

- SWSavage the WildAug 26, 20232.0Staff in the building are fantastic. But the drivers will constantly leave my mailbox open with packages hanging out of it for prying eyes to see and steal. If the package won't allow the mailbox to shut maybe do your due diligence and drop the package off at the carport like every other delivery driver does. It takes almost no extra effort to do this. Happened again yesterday, and even at one time the driver left a two foot long package hanging out of my mailbox. Just do the job right and place packages that don't allow the mailbox to shut somewhere more secure and safe.
