Well today I had nice lady from the Post Office call me to explain more about whats going on and reassure me they will be taking steps to ensure my Mom gets her Newspaper. It was nice that they actually reached out to me and hopefully they fix whatever the issue was as my Mother depends on those Newspapers.

One package was temporarily misplaced during the Christmas rush, and I got it the next day, but I have had much worse problems with FedEx. They have lost several this year.
