Bent by wedding pictures in half- literally folded over- that clearly had "do not bend" all over them. Bend them a second time when paid for new ones. Did the same to my marriage license. Our carrier is too lazy to deliver literally anything. She won't even put a not saying the items won't be delivered you just have to hope your items are at the office and not lost. And when you go to pick up your items they try to give you somebody else's package to get you out the door before you noticed. Sorry people.

Some of the most lazy people work here as carriers I swear. I was told I have to raise my mailbox up because they recently paved the road I live on. It's not my fault the road was paved? And this wasn't a problem before the road was paved? The road was lifted maybe half a foot (6in) and you guys are telling me I have to raise my mailbox because you guys can't reach into my mailbox in a Jeep?? Come on guys you deliver mail, it shouldn't be this hard. This also happened at my previous address in Hayesville.

I just read in reviews that another citizen has had to pay and get a PO Box some where else to avoid the NIGHTMARE that is Hayesville Post Office. First they don’t deliver packages as the manager told me “they don’t get paid enough”. That’s likely true but what can I do ? So I have to drive and pick up my mail every time I have any thing other than a tiny box. Sherry has told me to call ahead and they will put my packages on back stoop to pick up. The problem is unless Sherry is there no one answers the phone. I have had one man be incredibly rude and one other be medium rude. It’s just awful. 4 or 5 times in last 6 months I’ve driven packages myself to the correct address after they delivered to me. This time I was excitedly waiting for a lovely bracelet from Amazon. I checked the delivery periodically around the time I know post delivered. Amazon said delivered along with one other thing. I rushed out and NO BRACELET. It clearly said my package was put in the mail box it even showed my address in the photo. I called post office. 30 mins later she called back and said carrier had put in wrong mail box and would bring it back. Problem is there is a photo of MY MAILBOX stating it was delivered so I don’t know what to think. I’m pleased I will have my bracelet but very very concerned about future deliveries.
