I have shipped two packages through here with Mercari partnership and this is the only store that has quoted a different weight. I went in and confirmed my package weight 7 pounds to ensure I had adequate shipping (a $8 prepaid label). Now I get a notice from Mercari saying they weighed it as 33 pounds. Ridiculous. There is absolutely no freaking way I could lift 33 pounds comfortably and I confirmed with the clerk. Also, the same day I tried to ship an envelope and he quoted me $114 to ship overnight. I thought he was joking. Then I asked for slower shipping to save money and it was still $14, for a letter. Something isn’t adding up here and I filed a claim on my Mercari package since I couldn’t get paid because they deducted ludicrous shipping costs (over $108) because these owners over charge on purpose to increase their sales and profits. Disgusting.
